Photo Tips (an occasional series)

Photo Tip!! Don't be afraid to break the rules, come in close and crop heads if necessary and be surprised at the results! Here's a portrait from a Batmitzvah I shot at the weekend as an example.

What does your profile picture say about you?

First impressions make the biggest impression! So what does your Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc. profile picture say about you? (yes I know mine is a logo :-)). Why not hire me to take some headshot's for you at an all inclusive price you wont believe!! And remember you don't even have to visit a studio, I'll come to you.

Lily & Iona

Enjoyed a fun portrait session with the lovely Lily and Iona last weekend. Using my portable studio the session took place at their Auntie's home and the girls (and me!) had a great time.

Wedding & Barmitzvah Fair

Leila Again

You may recall I photographed the lovely Leila at 3 months (see earlier post). Well now I've been back to photograph her again at 6 months and look how she's growing up fast!

The Best Camera?

A very common debate among photographers, whether amateur or professional is 'what's the best camera?' Well in fellow professional photographer, Chase Jarvis's opinion its whatever camera you have with you at the time! and I must say I agree with him. There's no point owning some expensive mega pixel SLR, if its sitting at home when that once in a lifetime shot appears before you. Ok, so the shot above of a colourful sunrise over Totteridge Cricket Club taken this morning wont make the front pages of any of the Nationals, but at least I had my iPhone with me to record it!
